Mass Deletions of Attachments

In my outbox, I have over 1,000 emails with
attachements. I would like to delete all these
attachements without deleting the email itself. Is there
a way to do this all at once? Is there a utility to help
with this, or do I have to do it one by one?

have a look at this freeware utility

it will remove the attachments from the emails and leave a link to the file
in the email. You can then manually delete the attachments if you wish
