Masking of phone numbers

Hi,

I live in Singapore which doesn't have any area codes, only a country code
(65). I don't mind numbers appearing in the +65 1234-5678 format, but no
matter which country I add numbers for, they appear in +XX (YY) ZZZZZZZZ. Can
I change this to somehow display as +XX (YY) ZZZZ-ZZZZ? Dialing location in
OS is set correctly, by the way.

Thanks much in advance.

If what you're asking is whether you can force the dash ("-") to be inserted
in the local portion of the phone number, then no I don't think you can do
this. Outlook will correctly format the local number, for most countries,
according to local usage. So for US numbers, the dash will get inserted, like
this: nnn-nnnn. But for other countries where the number is formatted without
a dash, then that's the way Outlook will do it.
