MAS is a "fiasco"

Sure, for that reason I reiterate MAS is a fiasco!
For those boobs and untrained children, like you, keep
it! You deserve!

I've a sustained opinion, RON

1. Analyzed files to be cleared with CCleaner. MAS do not
clean anything! All files remained after reboot!
2. Checking my PC with Ad-aware, Spybot, A-squared,
MCAfee Anti Spyware, Spy Sweeper, they detected some
malware. MAS didn't! Not one!
3. And about real-time detect and block! Only scripts!
Spy Sweeper do it with great efficiency.

So, I don't believe in MAS.
Sorry... but I've to name this "fiasco" or a "fallacious
notoriety" or a "bluff".

Well, MSAS is really good and probably outclasses
all other antispyware app.

But other redundant products will be needed for total
removal of all junk. And it up to every thinking user
to deside whats more is needed.

MS owns MSAS and they deside what it should detect and remove,
it is up to MS but as a free user you can easily check if you want to
remove more
with other 3rd party products.

Really easy and MSAS rocks.

Sincerely, what kind of people you are trying to
misinform?
Do you know how much I spent with Microsoft's products?
I repel to be bamboozle by this riff-raff.
My enterprise has more than 1000 network machines!
These problems can't be questionabe here! It was a
mistake of mine...
Good bye!

Quantity is not quality.

I have found Microsoft Antispyware is more accurate when it comes to
determining the actual threat level of spyware. Many other antispyware
vendors inflate their spyware count by including cookies and other benign
files and registry settings which they claim are privacy concerns. In your
case, it is possible that the "malware" the other vendors detected was not
malware at all, but simply common files (like cookies) with implicit privacy
concerns.

You can read more about cookies here:

http://www.cookiecentral.com/c_concept.htm

I would encourage you to continue using MSAS as an additional layer of
security.

Yes, what yu said is correct, I know.
But Im sure Mcafee, Webroot or Lavasoft software, dont
smell a rat!
And if yu take a serious look into these Microsoft
communities, yu see a lot of messages fm people disputing
MAS efficacy.
And Im one of them.
best regards
