margins

i have a large right hand margin on my word documents and when i try to
change it in "page setup" i get the following message "increasing right
margin causes last column..........." and will not let me change it. it is
set at 2.2. i am using 2003 edition and have just installed it on a new
computer

You have inadventently turned on the column feature. (It's for newspaper
columns.)

Click Format > Columns.

In the "Number of Columns" field, change the number to "1"
