Margins get reset...

Is there a simple method to maintain the margins on a report to prevent them
from going back to default? I use Word 2000/2003.

Hi Douglas:

Actually, I meant Access 2000/2003 (I work with both versions). I also work
a lot in Word, and you usually find me in the Word newsgroups answering other
folk's questions nowadays, especially with MS Word VBA.

In my office my EMR (electronic medical record) system was put together by
me over the past 12 years using MS Access and works pretty well, but one
annoying thing is that the Access reports occasionally get their margins
reset to default. Is there a way to prevent this "feature", s.a. with
programmatically setting the margins right on printing?

It could be this issue:
Lost Printer Settings When Name AutoCorrect Is Enabled
at:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=240826

Or is could be when the printer driver is changed (if you saved the report
for a specific printer.)

Either way, you will want to disable Name AutoCorrect:
