margins change when I paste a picture in from another document

Hi,

I have Word 2007 (but save docuemnts in Word 2003). Even though both
documents have the same margins, when I paste a fairly large picture from one
document to the other, it knocks the margins back to the default 1 inch on
each side and I have to redo the margins each time. I have to paste a lot of
pictures so this gets annoying.

Thanks if anyone possibly knows what the problem is.

Perhaps you are inadvertently pasting a section break or the last paragraph
mark in the document along with the picture?

Hi,

Thanks for trying to help. I've made sure that I only pasted the pictures
(Usually, it is two or three pages with pictures, if that means anything).
Is there any way to lock in the margins so they can't change?
