mappoint does not show address

Several questions have been asked along this lines - but here goes again.
When I click on "display map of address" from a contact sheet (with a
complete address) I am taken to mappoint.msn. That is the way it should be.
However it only searches on the city, ignoring all other information. I
select from a drop down list the state and am given a state map, showing the
city. Now, remember what I was looking for - DISPLAY MAP OF ADDRESS, I am no
where near that task. I know it worked in outlook xp, I think it worked in
outlook 2003 - what happened?

In MS Office Outlook 2003, I have just opened the contacts
and opened a contact. I clicked on the Display Map of
Address icon and was delivered an MSN map of the area with
the specific address as expected.

does it fail on every address or just some? When mappoint can't locate an
address, it maps to the city level.

Now why did't I think of that? Appears to be just the case. Other address
work just fine.

Thanks for you help

Diane, I am in Canada & this feature used to work when I had Office 2000. Now
I have Office 2003 & it does not show Canadian Addresses. Has the default map
web site stopped displaying Canadian Addresses? Is there an alternate web map
site I can use? If so, how do I make that change.

Many thanks,

Leonard
