Mappings not staying.

I have a client running XP Pro SP2 on his laptop and every time he restarts,
the network drives I have mapped are gone. The "reconnect at logon" checkbox
is checked.

Any ideas?

Are there any logon scripts involved? Perhaps a logon script is clearing the
mapped drives.
 
There are logon scripts that map other drives. I'll check out them but I'm
pretty sure they don't get rid of mapped drives, just add them
 
Probably a NET USE /PERSISTENT:NO line somewhere.

HST, I'd have a rethink about putting persistent mappings onto a managed LAN
computer. The whole point of the scripts is to create an organised,
predictable working-space, and putting random mappings onto computers will
create disorganisation and confusion.
 
Well, there was nothing in the script to cancel out the drives, so I added
the two network drives to the script and things work great.
