mapping drive

Hi

I want to map a drive of Linux Server using net command I
could do it with WINDOWS 2000 but with client using
WINDOWS 98 has to enter login name and password but
whereas with WINDOWS 2000 I need not because the user name
is same as in SAMBA in Linux Server. I want to emulate
login as WINDOWS 2000. Any help please

Seeing that your question relates to Win98 networking,
I recommend that you repost in a W98 newsgroup. After
all, you state that you do NOT have a problem with Win2000.
