Is it possible to map a drive using the command prompt?

Syntax:

net use q: \\machinename\sharename

So the answer is 'yes'

Dear Customer,

Yes, we can map the network driver with the following command:

net use * \\server\share

It will map the \\server\share to the last available driver letter on the
computer.

For example, it will map to Z: if the Z: is available.
