Our LAN comprises a Windows Server 2003 machine and Windows XP clients. All
clients have their E drive mapped to the server's 'ads-serv/ads' directory.
There are 5
subdirectories under this directory and I can see all 5 from all other
client machines that have this network drive mapping but on this particluar
one I only see 3 subdirectories under 'ads-serv/ads'. In particular it is
missing a subdir called 'Elite'.
The weird thing is there is a shortcut on the desktop that maps to
'E:\Elite\bin' which launches our MedicsElite client application and this
works fine! Its
just that we are unable to see the 'Elite' folder under E.
I tried deleting this mapping and recreating it but even when I go under 'My
Network Places' and dig down to 'ads-serv/ads', I only see the 3
subdirs not 5. Any ideas? I suspect someone accidentally deleted this subdir
but now there seems no way to restore it! Help!
