MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version

Just upgraded to Windows XP Home Edition and re-installed
Office 97, then my Office 2000 upgrade. I seem to have
everything functional except Outlook. When I try to
launch Outlook I get this message: "Cannot start Microsoft
Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version.
This could have been caused by installing other messaging
system. Please install Outlook". I don't really want to
upgrade to Office XP right away. Is there a way to solve
this and allow me to use Outlook or must I stick to
Outlook Express? Thanks in advance to anyone who can
help me out....Ben (Kensington, PEI,Canada)

Never mind. Solved the problem. Located Outlook.exe,
went to properties and took it out of "compatibility mode"
:)
Cheers,
Ben
