MAPI failure

When I try to export my messages from Outlook Express 6 I
get a failure to initilise MAPI message. The option area
to make this mail server my default is greyed out so I
cannot change anything here as is suggested in other
posts. How do I export my messages? Any suggestions.

This is my second post, I can find my last post in the
search facility but not in the message list. Why?

For the default problem, first do this http://www.oehelp.com/oedef.aspx and
then do this http://www.oehelp.com/oelnk.aspx.

(CrystalBall© sez your next question has to do with Address Book being
unavilable or installed incorrectly...)
