Many Registry warnings. Are these significant ?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has seen these warnings in the even viewer. I'm
getting alot of them. Are they significant ? Do I need to fix these ?
What are they ?

"Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications
or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services
that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.
1 user registry handles leaked from

(event id: 1530, source: user profile services, user: system)

I have no idea what's causing them. If anyone has any insight on this, it
would be quite helpful. Sincerely,

Paul

P&L,

Are these warnings occurring during your shut-down time?? These used to
worry me too, but I looked at the time of the events and they happened at
the end of my day, during shutdown.

Do you have any Vista problems to deal with? Many of these so-called errors
and warnings are insignificant. I get a dhcp and tcp/ip warning and errors
when I first boot up, but all is great. My Internet, etc., has no problems.

Not really, they happen during the session. If they are nothing to worry
about, then I will just ignore them. I just wanted to make sure that these
warnings are indeed insignificant

Yeah, after quite a bit of experimenting with Vista, I found that we
shouldn't worry about anything in the Events Viewer unless you have a
specific problem to solve. THEN you look in the Events Viewer and find
something that identifies your specific problem. After that, you can post
the error or warning here and someone will help out.

So far, my Vista system is terrific (except for file sharing on my network).
But my Events Viewer has so many entries in it that I could lose sleep for a
week, just thinking about them. But if no problems, then no worries!
