Many problems - copy/paste, IE, Installer

Hi - I've recently had a clean install done of windows 2k
and I'm having continuous problems.

#1 the installer is not working properly - which means I
can't get my virus scan software installed. I've done
multiple scans through online software with no problems found.

#2 copy and paste won't work

#3 CPU usage spikes to 100% reguarly

#4 A lot of other stuff.

Where should I start?

Your machine is probably still infected. You can do one
of two things:

- Wipe your disk, then re-install Win2000. Make sure you're
not connected to the Internet until your virus protection
software is operating.

- Temporarily install your disk as a slave disk in some
other Win2000/XP PC, then scan it with an up-to-date
virus scanner.

When finished, run sfc.exe (System File Checker).

and House Call both showed no infections?
