I have lot of applications running in start manager. I want to stop them during login only insteading of going into Task Manager and killing them. In XP you can run "msconfig" and uncheck the applications you don't want to run during the startup. Does any one have any idea how to do this or any such utlity in Win 2k

Thanks in advanc

You can copy msconfig.exe from WinXP to your Win2000 PC.

Not really, but since it resides in c:\winnt\system32 on
the WinXP PC, you might as well put it into the same
folder on the Win2000 PC.

Manoj,
Right click on "My computer" then select "Manage" That takes you to "Computer Management" look over far right -- third in list for " Services and Applications" .
Good Luck!
