Manually uninstall Word 2000?

Guest

I have a laptop that someone has installed a standalone version of Word 2000.
I cannot uninstall it normally as it asks for the install CD during
uninstall. Our office uses Office 2000 Pro but I cannot update Office 2000 as
the update asks for the Word 2000 CD as well. How can I uninstall Word 2000
manually or at least make it possible to update Office 2000? Thanks

Since you haven't gotten a response here, try asking in the more specialized
