Manual Wrapping of Axis Category Titles

I am trying to force a "line break" within my "titles" to my "X" axis
cateogories in PowerPoint XP when creating a bar chart. Can this be done?

Example: In a standard column type of chart, one of my "X" axis category
descriptions would be "Training Oct. 2005". I want Training to appear on one
line and Oct. 2005 to be on the second line, which would then look like the
example below on my chart.

Training
Oct. 2005

I have searched everything to figure out how to do this.

Thank you in advance for assisting me.

Kay,

I'm pretty sure someone posted a workaround of typing the "hardbreak"
character in a MS word document, and then copy > pasting it into the graph.

Ah, yes... here it is.... Alt - Enter in Excel (I was close)

TAJ is correct -- you have to use Alt+Enter in Excel to get the line break.

You can copy that into your PPT graph datasheet, or you could just create
the graph in Excel and paste that into your presentation. I figure if I've
gotta do parts of the thing in Excel, I might as well do the whole thing
there, ya know?

Thank you so much for your response. I knew how to do it in Excel, but just
couldn't figure it out in Powerpoint. I'll take your suggestions to the
workaround and pass it on to my Manager.

Thank you again.
