Manual Page Break: style

D

djprius

I was surprised to learn on this group in the last couple of days
that a manual page break has a "style" associated with it -- and the
suggestion to the OP was to use "page break before" on the paragraph
formatting to avoid the OP's issue.

How is the style of the manual page break set? Normal style? Last
style used? Preceding or succeeding style?

Are there other problems arising from the use of manual page break
having a "style"?

A manual page break always inherits the style of the following paragraph.
That's the problem. If you change the style of the page break, you change
the style of the following paragraph.
