Manual Archiving

I've created about 20 mail folders, many of which have subfolders. From time
to time I archive a folder or subfolder by going to File, Archive. But is
there any reason not to simply drag and drop the folder into the archive
tree (or using the command to move the folder to "Archive Folders")? Seems
easier and faster. Thanks,

You are free to do that ofcourse. Basically there are 3 options;
-AutoArchive; automatically archive after x number of days by defined
AutoArchive settings on each folders
-Manual Archive according to AutoArchive settings; archive by defined
AutoArchive settings on each folder
-Manual Archive; good old drag & drop or the delete button
