Managing multiple windows with grouping feature

Dear friends,

Almost all NT family based Operating systems like windows 2000 and XP
provides a feature to open many windows as per to our requirements but It
groups them into a single button in a taskbar with a arrow sign allowing us
to choose any window. Like in Internet explorer , each window is open
separately and thus combines them into one when more than 4 windows are
opened. But how to ungroup them as I am tired of clicking the same arrow sign
and then selecting the window.
Please help!

Right click the Taskbar | Properties | Taskbar tab |
UNCheck: Group similar taskbar buttons

Group similar taskbar buttons
[[Displays taskbar buttons for files opened by the same program in the same
area of the taskbar. In addition, if the taskbar becomes so crowded with
buttons that the width of the buttons shrinks beyond a certain width, then
the buttons for the same program are collapsed into a single button.
Clicking the button lets you access the document you want. Right-clicking
the button lets you close all the documents you want.]]

However, if you open a boatload of applications they will group anyway,
unless you size the Taskbar to half the size of your display. ;-)

Is there any other way to make the Windows XP taskbar work just like the
Windows 2000 taskbar. For instance we can uncheck grouping similar items,
but as you said, unless we make the taskbar half the size of the display, we
still get taskbar tabs after 12 - 20 applications are loaded. I prefer
having ALL the applications I load on a single taskbar.

My reasoning since everyone asks is simple. When I'm doing multiple
searches for things I like to keep some documents I find online open while I
continue searching for more answers in other documents. For instance I had
about 40 instances of IE open looking for an aswer to this question.

I really dispise using TABS in my browser, as well as grouping, and
scrolling thru taskbars is far more confusing then having everything on a
single bar. Is it possible to even do this? If not will it be an added
feature one of these years =).
Thanks
