hi ng,
somehow my win2k prof desktop behaves strange or even queer. when
starting only an empty desktop appears. then, when invoking the
taskmanager the desktop icons appear. i started the management console
next, having a look at the services. only service, rpc is deactivated
and i tried to invoke the properties - nothing happens. when trying to
close the mmc again, a message pops up saying: close all propertie
windows before closing the mmc. but there isn't one open.
when trying to search a file via explorer, the search window doesn't open.
any helpful hint?? (apart from installing the system again=
