Manage Spyware Scan Schedule

Patrick Lyons

Hi, whenever I try to update the scan schedule to a time
after midday, the time reverts to the morning (ie. 14:00
becomes 2am). Is there an update for this ? Does anyone
else have the same problem ?

Thanks,
Patrick.

To set a schedule in MSAS:

1. Close MSAS
2. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", configure a 12-hour AM/PM time format, OK to close the control
panel.
3. Open MSAS, configure your desired schedule in 12-hour AM/PM format, click
"Save", close MSAS.
4. In control panel "Regional and Language Options", button "Customize", tab
"Time", re-configure your preferred 24-hour time format, OK to close the
control panel.

Then your scheduled event should occur at your desired time, even if the
displayed time in MSAS looks wrong.

Hi, It does work ok with Robins work round but I am sure
it used to work OK on the 24Hr clock

I found that setting the Time in Regional Options to
hh:mm:ss tt allows a schedule to be set after midday.

I'm sure too! This bug appears to be new, introduced with builds .613 and
above. I don't really expect it to be fixed before beta2, however.

Correct--that (or any setting with a lower-case h at the start) would result
in a 12-hour clock which works correctly with the beta1 code.
