Malware is the name given to "bad software".

Malware comes in tow sub-types. Viral and non-viral malware.

Viral malware is best handled by anti vrus software.
Non-viral malware is best handled by anti spyware software.

What is SuperSyware ?
CrapCleaner (CClener is NOT anti malware).
Windows Defender is not the vest anti spyware application.

No where have you mentioned anti virus software.

I suggest you get Kaspersky or NOD32 anti virus software.
for non-viral malware I suggest the following...

Please download, install and update the following software...

* Ad-aware SE v1.06

* SpyBot Search and Destroy v1.4

* SuperAntiSpyware

Excellent !

The most important tool is YOU.

If you practice Safe Hex then there are now worries. :)

Realize spam is is just junk mail in email form.

If it bothers you institute an anti spam software. In my case I have Verizion as my ISP and
email provider. They provide BrightMail SpamDetector. I have enabled it on the Verizon
email server. To further reduce spam I use Pegasus Mail and its spam filtering capabilities
that use rules and regular expressions. At most I receive 1 or 2 spam messages per day.

Malware =

1. Anything YOU did not knowingly install on your computer
2. Anything that compromises the operation of your computer's
functionality or safety
3. Basically, anything that YOU do not want on your computer, now or
ever.
