Thank you so much ...I regularly ask for little bits of support and you
allways come up with a solution. This time ..I really owe you.

I've spent the last 2 weeks - probably 20 plus hours chasing a problem I
have had with sharing files over my wireless network of 4 pcs (files not
accessible, not enough server storage etc). Have done several posts and
followed up every (dozens) of leads and articles.

Have re-installed network, renamed all computers, opened guests accounts,
reset all share properties, changed IRP stack size on laptop with the access
problem....zilch. Tonight I decided to take a last trawl round the
newsgroups and found a bit of info about the stacksize on the TARGET Desktop
PC (from you) ...changed it from 11 to 15 and BINGO !!

I am ecstatic...which probably means I'm a very sad person who needs to get
a life. Thank you so much.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad my passing on information from MVP
Hans-Georg Michna helped you.

I'm sure you have a perfectly fine life. Enjoy it! :-)

Thanks! I'm listening. We're a good team. (:-)

Just talking to myself---I'm always trying to put this stuff on
the http://winhlp.com/ web site. But the difficulty is that a
particular symptom can have many causes and is often very
difficult to diagnose, particularly for the user who may not be
inclined to become a computer surgeon.

All too often the static advice on a web site will not cut it,
so somebody has to look into the matter individually.

I'm glad you're listening - your fine website and hard work has solved
many issues for me and my clients. I wouldn't call us a team - rather
I'm your most humble servant. ;-)

Thanks, Hans-Georg. You are the one who is a gem.
