Malicious Tool

I know Mocrosoft said this Tool would be updated every month, but I think
it's not getting installed for me. It constantly tells me new software has
been downloaded and needs to be installed. It's always this Malicious
software removal tool. It could happen several times a day if I'm installing
other software or hardware that requires a restart of Windows. Help me, Obi
Wan

I'm not "Obi Wan Wankenobi", however, download that tool from this site
and execute when done. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=890830

Scan your system for Malware ASAP and repost (via Newsreader) to

If you couldn't use Guided Help without IE closing, try it in Safe Mode with
Networking. If no joy:

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

analysis, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

Sounds like you have a malicious tool that interferes with the malicious
tool removal program.

Can't blame it, really.
