Download the current version of the tool from
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...-860b-5b397199cbf8/Windows-KB890830-V1.33.exe
and save it to your hard disk. Run it whenever you like.
You will have to download the tool every time it is updated, which is
(I believe) second Tuesday of every month.

Click on the program mrt.exe in \windows\system32, and the program will tell
you how to execute it.

It downloads and silently runs. If nothing's found, it just goes away.

In addition to the other info, you can run a Full System scan with MRT
by going to Start > Run > type in

mrt
Click OK
Wait until it loads then click the Next button.
Threee options for running it will be presented.
