Hello. I just let the Windows automatic software update on my XP machine
download the Tool, but do not see it anywhere. Can youtell me where it
installed to? (I hate that Windows auto-update, oh well).

The malicious software removal tool is not a program. It's a tool that
does its job and exits.

Do you hate everything that you don't understand?

If you really want a copy download it from the Microsoft download page -
then you can run it in the future whenever you want.

Hmmmm, do you enjoy being a smart as*? Does it give you a sense of
power? It's folks like you that make a forum the first, and last time,
that one will contribute to it. It's like all of the guitar forums I
frequent, some are a 10 on the friendly scale, and a very few are a 5
or 6. Such are the laws of probablilty. My understanding or lack
thereof, is an intangible assumption on your part. It actually shows
that you probably do enjoy making this forum more towards a 5 due to
people like yourself. Unfortunate.

Ted, try taking a sabatical to China, they actually teach 'Manners'
there.

By the way, thank you Jerry. I appreciate your help!

You can run it from C:\Windows\System32 after installation, look for
MRT.exe.
