Making distribution lists...out of categories?

M

I have a client who just moved from OE to Outlook.

Her contacts have already been grouped into categories. Question is,
can she designate an Outlook Category as a distribution list? It
doesn't appear so, but I thought I would ask.

In other words, can she create a new list, then select all from the
"Dale Carnegie" category, and be done with it?

No need to create DL's if you have categories. Categories are a better
option for grouping than DL's. Just use the By Category view of the Contacts
Folder, select the Category > Actions > New Message to Contact.
