I've been searching on how to make an html e-newsletter for OE - I'd like to
make a monthly, easy to read, professional looking newsletter for my friends
and family - can I do this in FP2003 - is there a template - do I just copy
and paste the source code after desinging in fp? any help here sure would be
appreciated.

thanks!

Believe it or not, it is much easier to do in OE with OE set to compose in html mode. Especially if
you're going to include images.
When images are included in OE, when the email is sent, OE includes the images in the email in
binary format and sends the email as one monolithic file.

If you use FP to do it, the images must then be located on a public server ( the internet ) or they
won't be included / won't display in the email.

yes, I agree - but I want to be able to make columns or make a middle table
with a background color - OE doesn't allow for tables - at least I can't
find any way to do it - maybe there is a free program out there somewhere
that I can use????
thanks

Create your basic table layout in FrontPage, switch to code view, Click Edit, click select all and
then right click in the page and select copy.

Open a new OE email with OE set to compose in html. Click View, click Source edit and then click the
Source tab at the bottom.

Click one in the page to place the cursor in the page, then on the toolbar click Edit and then
select all and then hit the delete key on the keyboard
..
Then right click in the empty page and click paste.

Switch back to edit mode and continue.
I know it works because I just created a two row two column table in an email as I was writing this.
