Making a, Automated System Recovery (ASR) floppy.. without success

Say Heh,

I have tried unsucessfully to make an ASR recovery set. I go into Backup and
the wizard opens, I then click Advanced, I then click on, The Automated
Recovery Wizard button. It then tells me I will need a blank floppy handy,
and then it proceeds to make a backup labeled ASGRBackup.bkf . It finishes
the backup and then, nothing, no prompt to insert the floppy (it did say I
would be prompted for one.) I read an articule about making the ASR and I
also have been in the spot of trying to recover from a mistake, i was
prompted for a ASR floppy and didn't have onel. So that is why I am trying to
figure it out. I have two other ways of backing up but i would like to stay
with the native backup that comes with XP.

Anybody else ran into this problem. It makes the backup but doesn't prompt
for the floppy you need.

Thanks, Walrus.

ASR backup only works in Windows XP Professional.

Sorry Richard, did I foreget to say I am runnning WinXPproSerPK2
So I pose the same question in regards to WinXPproSerPK2, or are you saying
it only works with just WinXP, thought all XP's were some type. Didn't know
there was just a plain WinXP, guess there had to be at some point.
