Make the Database Timeout

I have been told that certain users will not close the database. Is there a
way to set a timer when the user opens the database and use that to check in
someway if the database has been open for over 10 hours and then
automatically close the database. The front end will be held on the users C
drive and the backend on a server.

I don't believe there's any built-in way to know how long a particular user
has had the database open.

The normal approach is to determine how long it's been without user
