Make one selection and saving other results

Please help I am trying to make an order form

What I need is to select a category and when I do it gives me the list of
products in that group only that i can choose from

am novice talk English not techo - step by step please or example

in Cat the groups are records, Movies, slides photo
In each group
records there would be 33, 45, 78 etc
Movies - vhs, vhs-c, 8mm Mini DV etc
Slides - 35mm 25mm 16mm etc
Photos - colour, B/w, 6x4 b/w, 6x4 col etc

so if I select Movies from one dropbox in the next drop box I will only see
the slection vhs, vhs-c, 8mm Mini DV
Eg of form

Cat - Products - Price Qty
Movies Vhs $xx 5
