Make Dial-up box quit popping up?

A Dial-up to Connect box pops up when I'm connected full-
time with Cable Modem.

How do I make that stop? Thanks.

You probably have had dialer software installed on your computer from
visiting nefarious web sites. Some of these, if they can connect, will bill
10-20 dollars per minute to your phone bill, for every minute the connection
is live. Most are from central Europe.

Run SpyBot as soon as you can to get rid of this crap. And, stay off the
sites that put it there.
