Now of course many do not like it when I point out the obvious and guess
what I don't either. I'd much prefer Windows XP to work. Wouldn't that be
something?
The autorun feature of Windows has undergone the engineering boondoggle. It
is not hard to understand. You put a CD-ROM in the CD Player and that
CD-ROM has an autorun.inf and NORMALLY the CD does what it is supposed to do
as directed to do it from the autorun.inf. And then Microsoft has the
bright idea of putting a CD Burner in Windows XP. Result an engineering
boondogle. Namely autorun does not work. So of course to fix the mess
Microsoft convinces many oh get this fix or get that fix and maybe a fix or
two down the road. Hell we got fixes coming out of our ears for this issue.
In fact it's all fixed in the Next version of Windows get that!!!
Well you know what? It is NOT fixed and never will be fixed. In fact
things cannot be fixed when it is denied that something is broke. How can
we fix something that we don't know is broke? Well one way to find out is
to read the posts in thsi Newsgroup about the autorun boondoggle. Or of
course listen to the experts that think their is no issue. We know which
side Microsoft has come down on don't we?
