Hello to all....

I attempted to upload the latest Microsoft
security update from their website. After the scanning
software did its thing and recommended a security update,
I downloaded it. When it finished loading it asked to
reboot the machine. When it restarted, it froze up and all
I got was a black screen. I had to turn the power off to
restart the machine. When the screen finally came to life,
I got the page with the start in safe mode selections and
the restart your machine with the last known working
configuration. I selected this option. It finally came to
life, but I lost all the video card info and had to
reinstall that. Compounding this, I can't shut the
computer down because the same thing happens every time I
shut-down and reboot. This is the first time I ever had a
problem with the update site and now I am totally lost as
how to correct the problem.Any thoughts would be
appreciated.

Regards,
Andy
