my windows p.c. is messed up. it is a dell. on xp. the bottom bar is
completely gone, not moved. everything is slow. it will not see the
internet or anything. i was going to just reinstall the windows again,
but it wont accept my verification code. i dont know wut to do. im
freaked out.
What's the history of this issue. All of these things can't be new
problems. What exactly does, "it will not see the internet or anything"
mean? We can't see your computer.

There is no "verification code", there is a product key, however.
Use one of these utilities to retrieve the product key from the running
installation. Note that if the installed OS is the same as it come from
Dell then the product key it retrieves will be the one used by Dell when the
image was laid down, which is not what you would enter to reinstall the OS.

Also it's likely that the OS is BIOS locked so no product key key is needed
to reinstall using the
the Dell CD, so what is the situation? You are not giving us all the facts.
With what are you trying to
do the installation? What product key are you trying to use? The product
key on the sticker attached to the case should work with a generic OEM XP
installation CD.
