Hello,
I was at an innocuous website. I had already clicked on several links
with no problem. Then I clicked on a link, and my screen went blue, and
had a lot of printing on it; it almost looked like a blue DOS screen.

Then the computer restarted. When it returned to the desktop, there was
a box with the message:

Major Error (or something like that)

http://oca.microsoft.com/resredir.a...State=0&LCID=1033&OS=5.1.2600.2.000101000.2.0
Application not found

Can someone tell me what it means and how to fix it?

Thank you.

Double click on the link in your message, print the page and then click
on the "Windows Update" in the page. When the Windows Update it checks
your computer for updates needed. I imagine it will offer you what is
mentioned on the page you have printed off. Follow the instruction you
have printed off.

Hope this helps.

Gerry,
Thank you very much.
I did as you said and there was an update for this Crystal thing. It's
good to know what to do if I get an error message again with an http:
in front.
