Maintaining two separate Outlooks

I have seen the answer to one person's question regarding two seaparate
Outlooks. I also would like to maintain two seperate Outlooks, but not on
the same drive Is is possible to have them on two different drives, same
computer? My hard drive has been divided into 3 drives. Can I re-load
Outlook program on my "E" drive? I would then have Outlook on my "C" drive
and another Outlook on my "E" drive. I am assuming that I would not be able
to have both programs open at the same time??

There are two users on this one computer.

Thanks

What exactly are you trying to achieve by this?

There can be only one instance of Outlook per operating system. If you have
two boot partitions, you can have Outlook installed on each, but you can't
have two Outlooks in one instance of the OS.

That's not to say two people can't use Outlook and have their data distinct
one from the other, but that's not what you're asking.

The reason for the separation is because I am running two businesses on one
computer. Another person has access to this computer, and needs to be able
to use "her" Outlook for her business without having access to mine.

:

Then set up two separate Windows Users - that will give you total separation
with completely separate Outlook folders without any problems. Assuming you
are using XP or W2K.....

See the OPs response to me - that's EXACTLY what he's asking....in a very
roundabout way!

I see that, but it sure wasn't what s/he asked.

Yeah, I know it wasn't! The OP obviously didn't really know how to ask what
the OP wanted to know!
