Maintain Constant Picture Size - PP2007

My PP2007 presentation consists of slides with a title above a text
box. In the text box I start with a line or two of text, then add a
picture. When I do an Insert/Picture from a file, the picture posted
is very small. About 1" wide. I have to put each one to a larger
size, and I'm sure there is a lot of variation in size between slides.
Is there a way to set a constant picture size on all slides so that an
inserted picture automatically fills the same size space on each one?

You can use a couple of techniques.

One is to add the images using the Photo Album option, then add your text.
Insert | Photo Album | New Photo Album.

Another, probably better in this situation, is to insert the image onto the
slide, format it the way you want, and then use the Hammer tool (the "place
exactly" tool is what it's really called) on the free RnR Starter Set
add-in. Once you pick up the setting for that first object, you can then
select the other images on the other slides and "hammer" them into place.
You can opt to resize them exactly at the same time, too.

Get the Starter Set here: http://www.pptools.com/index.html
http://www.pptools.com/starterset/FAQ00011.htm (Pick Up / Place Exactly)
explains how to use it.
