mailto links cause 30 browser windows to open

I installed Office 07 and by msitake installed outlook full edition which I
hate so I uninstalled it.Now when i click a mailto link on a website,I get an
error message saying a default program isnt installed correctly.Then 30
browser windows flash open. I went to default programs and it looks like i
fixed it but it still ahppens.Anyone have a way to remedy this very annoying
problem?
