I have a spreadsheet set up which includes a column for
peoples' birthdates. The cells in the relevant column are
formatted as English (UK) dates eg 01/05/1964
However when I create a mailmerge in Word the letter
prints date as eg 5/1/1964 even though I have language
set as English UK
Anyone any clues, it's driving me mental
Thanks in advance

I don't know the immediate answer, Roger, but have you tried the date
setting of 5 May 64?

try a WORD or an EXCEL newsgroup. This one is for WINDOWS XP - as in the
title.
