mailing labels from database

Can't figure out how to print mailing labels from
Microsoft Works Database. This was really simple on old
Windows 98, but have not been able to figure it out on
WinXP. Does it no longer work from a database?

You need WORKS installed on your Windows 98 or XP machine,
merely copying a database file without the program won't
work.

Mail merge and labels will work exactly the same because it
is the application program that does it, not the operating
system.

Your older copy of WORKS will work on XP, but a newer
version will be needed if you need it on two machines.

If you have MS OFFICE (WORD, EXCEL, maybe ACCESS) you can
import the WORKS wdb into Excel or Access and use WORD to do
labels.

I don't use Microsoft Works, so can't help wit the specifics of
your question. But I just wanted to point out that this has
nothing to do with the difference between Windows 98 and Windows
XP. If the version of Works is the same, you do it the same way.
If the version of Works is different, it may be different, and if
so, the difference is in Works, not Windows.
