Anyone know why old messages might disappear from my inbox? I don't believe
I have intentionally set up an auto archive but messages older than 1-2 weeks
simply disappear from my inbox. I'd appreciate any help you can provide and
Happy New Year.

Right click on your toolbar and enable the advanced toolbar. Reset your view from the dropdown from "messages from the last 7 days" to "messages."

After furious head scratching, bisroff asked:

Thank you for your suggestion. This is my fist experience using the
discussion group so, if I shouldn't have clicked no to "Did this answer your
question" I appologize. When I did what you suggested, I saw that my view
was set to IMAP Messages probably since I have Outlook set to receive my
email from my AOL email address which is what I need. Also, my oldest email
in my inbox at the moment (that I can see) is 10 days old so I don't think
the 7 days thing is the issue. Not sure if Outlook will only retain IMAP
emails for say 10-14 days but would love to be able to see the older emails
that I haven't deleted. If you have any other suggestions I'd be grateful.
Thanks again and Happy New Year.
