disappearing messages from inbox

Older messages keep on disappearing from my inbox. I have no rules set up
and no archiving going on. I'm also not "accidentally" deleting them. Any
suggestions on where they are going?

If you are at a company with an exchange email server, that could be set up

Click View>Arrange By>Current View and see what you've checked. If it says
"Last Seven Days", there's your answer.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I should also have included that I'm not using
Exchange Server. This is happening on my home computer.

Thanks Brian. I looked at my View and it was Messages with Autopreview. It
was a good try though.
