mailbox.pst

Hi everyone

Had problems some time ago with my PC, and appeared to lose my mailbox.pst. I recoverd the file, however...everytime i run outlook now i get the following message:

Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The file c:\windows\mailbox.pst is not a personal folders file..

Even if i am unable to restore the file with it's original contents....i still want to use outlook....please hel

run scanpst.exe against the pst-file to check it for errors

Thanks mate....although some data still not there, some has been restored and i can now use outlook ....
