Mail won't send

I have had no problem with this for a year of using Outlook
2002 then for no reason I can fathom, my mail will not
send, it stays in the Outbox and I eventually get an error
'reported error (0x8004210B):The operation timed out
waiting for a response from the sending (SMPT)server etc, etc'

I have both service packs installed (this problem in MS
Knowledge Base) and I can delete the e-mail from the
Outbox. I can also send mail using Outlook Express and can
send mail from a second networked computer using Outlook
2002 and Internet Connection Sharing, so it can't be at the
ISP's end.

I have uninstalled Outlook twice, Office XP completely
twice and reinstalled without any change.

Windows XP won't allow me to do a restore to a day the
e-mail was working normally for some reason so I can't
give that a try.

Anyone with further suggestions? (Keep them clean :) )

Most people are getting this error. Specially if your IPS
is AOL. They have changed some configuration files which
will prevent Outlook to send e-mails. You may be able
just to receive, but not to send. If you contact your ISP
post the question to their Tech Support Team and hope the
won't change configuration to the incoming mail servers.

Good Luck Joe
