Mail stuck in outbox after installing Office 2007 SP1 update on Vi

Vista and Office 2007 - after installing the Office SP1 update - my email
gets stuck in the outbox. Some of it appears to go through but isn't deleted
from the outbox and placed in the sent box. No errors get displayed. The
send/receive also seems to be in a loop but no errors display.

Do I need to log into my web based email to delete some mail?
Is there someting wrong with SP1?

Most likely this is caused by your virus scanner. Uninstall/Disable its
integration with Outlook and see if your issue still occurs.

Cheryl,

I just faced the same issue. Try changing the port from the standard 25 to
2525 in your SMTP outbound server. That solved my problem.

Those settings highly depend on your ISP.
