I have an odd situation with Outlook 2003 SP1. I have it configured to
download mail from 3 POP3 servers and use one of the providers' SMTP servers
for outgoing mail.
If the Outbox is empty, the first e-mail I create will:
1. be placed in the Outbox with NO date.
2. not be italicized
3. will remain in the Outbox until deleted. No, opening it and clicking the
Send button does not work.
Subsequent e-mails (as long as there is already an e-mail in the Outbox)
will be created under Today's date, the title, etc. will be italicized, and
it will send normally.
I can keep an e-mail in the Outbox (which is my current workaround) but I
then always get the message about having a message in my Outbox when I close
Outlook.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Larry
