mail messages still going to outlook express

I have a new computer and just converted from outlook express to outlook
2003. Set up new accounts and all seems well as test show all is good but
messages are still going to outlook express. Any ideas?
 
Stop using OE
Set OL to check for mail on starting, or poll for mail every x mins, where x
is not less than 5 mins
 
Two options, neither will take more than a minute, so you may as well do them
both to be safe:
1. Set your default email program as Outlook 2003
2. Open Outlook Express, go to the email settings section, and delete all
account information, this way, Outlook Express will not be able to get your
email any longer.
